Municipality of Port Hope staff have been developing the 2022 Capital and Operating Budget. This process is one of the most important tasks carried out by staff and takes many months of planning before it is presented to Council for consideration.
2022 Proposed Budget
The 2022 proposed budget documents are now posted for public review on the municipal Budget and Finances webpage.*
Please note that this is the proposed budget for 2022, which means that it has not yet been finalized and adopted by Council. Some changes may be made to the budget while it is being reviewed and considered by Council at their Special Meeting of Finance Committee.

Finance and Committee Meeting Dates
A Special Meeting of Finance Committee will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 and continued on Thursday, December 16, 2021, commencing at 9:00 a.m., to review and consider the 2022 proposed budget via Zoom web conference.
Members of the public may participate in the Special Finance Committee meeting. To participate, the Zoom instructions and a link will be posted on the meeting agenda, once available.
