We are developing a comprehensive, innovative and achievable Waterfront and Riverwalk Master Plan. The Master Plan is a community focused exercise that will create unique and innovative waterfront and riverwalk areas. These areas will be integrated with the natural environment and enhance connectivity, walkability, livability and quality of life for residents and visitors. The Master Plan will serve as a blueprint for implementation and will guide investment with the intention of supporting the Municipality’s commitment to a high quality of life for residents and for those who will come to enjoy all that Port Hope has to offer.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more. This Master Plan will be developed for the community, by the community. This website is your hub for information about the project, time lines, updates, and news about upcoming engagement events. Don’t forget to share your input through the various tools found at the bottom of this page.
Vision boards for the draft Waterfront and Riverwalk Master Plan
The vision for the draft master plan has been guided by feedback from our community through extensive engagement activities. We’ve created vision boards, available for review on the right-side menu of this page, which include recommendations for each of the five key project areas. Let us know if you feel we are on the right track using the provided scale in the feedback form below. Feedback is open until August 31.
For accessible copies of the Important Documents, please contact Julia Snoek or Leslie Murray.
